Newborn Session Color Palette

Coordinating a newborn session color palette is very important in my studio. I find that when a session is color coordinated, wall galleries and albums have a cohesive look that I just love. So, I encourage my clients to think outside the box on where they may find their color inspiration. Some use Pinterest mood boards. Others use decorating magazines or a favorite pillow. And, still others use the baby’s nursery or a favorite shirt. I love the challenge of creating beautiful custom sets based on my clients’ color inspiration.
When Norah’s mama wanted me to create a Spring Color Palette, I was excited by the challenge! I decided to go with a purple, yellow, blue, and pink theme that screamed Spring. I collected pieces that were full of fun, whimsy, and texture. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Norah, who was just a tiny babe. I also loved creating matching, cohesive products for them.
This is one of my all-time favorite sessions and I just had to share it with your readers!
Equipment used: Nikon D610, Nikkor 50 1.8
