Greenhouse Session

This girl is beautiful inside and out. We met at her school graduation where I was doing senior portraits. Sometimes you just feel connected with people you just met and that was the case with this girl. Keep reading to find out more about this greenhouse session.

As you scroll down and see the images you will notice that the location is absolutely gorgeous. It is a green house in Vineland, Ontario.

When I first saw it, I knew I had to do a greenhouse session.

When I drove by this location, I could hardly contain myself, so I immediately went in to meet with the owner. Lucky for me, the Dutch couple who own the place was there and I asked them if I could use the location for a shoot. They were very kind and welcoming and agreed to my request.

I started choosing clothing by asking my client what dresses she had in her wardrobe. We decided on her graduation dress because I knew the colors would be beautiful in our location. I had handmade the crown you see below and was very happy to see how awesome her curls looked with the crown and dress. Her mom did a great job as her hair stylist. We got a beautiful story of images just as we had envisioned.

Everything about the session was well-planned except one thing. Do you see the cat? She was at the location walking around us, and lucky for us, my client picked up the cat and I got some sweet shots of them together.

At the reveal, I played a slideshow of images, which was set to music that fit the mood of the session. They loved the outcome and really appreciated the wonderful results we had achieved from the shoot.

I’m very excited that another summer is upon us and I can’t wait to make the most of it with my camera and the beautiful people.
