Fresh 48 Session

There is just something so magical about the first 48 hours of a baby’s life. The hospital bracelet, the receiving blanket, the little pink and blue beanie are all things your new baby probably won’t wear again once discharged from the hospital. Not to mention, you’re probably not going to bring your baby home to put them in a clear, plastic bassinet. Those are all part of the raw experience of having just given birth in the hospital. And those are all things that every new mother wants to stamp into her memory when they book a Fresh 48 session.
The nice thing about a Fresh 48 is these sessions are able to draw out parts of your birth story without actually documenting the entire birth – and for some moms, that is their preference. A little extra sleep and a new outfit are added bonuses of doing a session shortly after birth.
This sweet mama thought of it all for her Fresh 48. She chose a beautiful nursing gown with a light robe, and she managed to look both elegant and beautiful for her session only a day or so after birth! Added bonus was that she was able to nurse easily during the shoot! I highly recommend wearing something that is not tight fighting and something that is easy to nurse in. A nursing gown was the perfect addition for this sweet family’s Fresh 48 – but the best addition really was Baby Anthony.
