Beautiful Baby Boy

This beautiful baby boy was born the week before Christmas, so we had to postpone his session until my kiddos were back in school from the holidays.

I was very nervous because he would be almost 3 weeks old by then, and expected his session to be challenging.

He surprised me by being one of my easiest babies to date (and such an adorable little squish at that)! I travel to my client’s homes for newborn sessions, which can sometimes be difficult, not knowing how much space or light there will be ahead of time, but this client had a large, open living room where I set up and everything worked out perfectly. They followed my prep instructions to a T, and this little man slept until almost the very end.

This session was finished in 2 hours and I was able to capture floor shots, bean bag shots, and macros – which are always my goals, but I was surprised to be able to complete my goals in that amount of time! The handmade knit props for this session were made by the very talented ladies from Piccolo Bambino and MyLIttleKnits.
